Maya and Hiro, my new global friends. Originally both from Japan, they were living separately for the moment while they both finished up their jobs, Maya worked and lived in LA, and Hiro was working back in Japan. They met in the middle of the Pacific Ocean to have a beautiful Hawaiian summer wedding. With a few friends and family, they emotionally exchanged vows at Waialae beach park, and then continued the very relaxing wedding day touring the Kahala/ Diamond Head area. We finished the night with a dinner reception at The Kahala, with teary eyed speeches and letters from home. By the time I ended up blogging about this wedding, they are both now living happily together back in Japan. :)
